Access seems to hide subreports where no data matches with the main report.

Is there a way around this? I still want my subreports to show.

I am a little confused as to what you want. If there is no data how can Access produce a subreport?

I'll explain it a little:

- my main report is basic info about a person (name, age,...)
- subreport1 holds info about all the cars he has owned
- subreport2 holds info about all the houses he has owned

Often a person hasn't owned a car or a house yet. In this case the subreport won't show at all. However I'd still like the report headers to show.

How can I accomplish this?

Kind regards,
Hans B.

I'd be interested in an answer as well. Right now I have an unbound text box located directly behind my subform that will show some standard text when the subform is empty.

Which is a good idea when nobody comes up with the answer.
