Shuts down

access shuts down totally when going from Report to code. This has never happened before, stranger and stranger...any thoughts?

not much information here Phil. Report to code? hmmm...deciphering that could take decades.

often relates to corruption.

save the database before trying things, as you can make it worse

try decomplie/compile
try repair
try creating a new dbs, and re-import everything
import a previously working copy of the rpeort
implement a system of saving "working versions" so you always have a useable backup
