Hi guys,
a friend of mine likes to get a laptop where he is able to let the customer sign Documents.
As I never had something to do with it I was wondering if it is all possible and what equimpent he needs to get in Order to do so?

Many thanks

Albert

Well I'd expect you would need a touchscreen laptop if you actually wanted to 'sign' a document?
I have used those devices that delivery people have, to sign for delivery and the signature never looks like anything real?

I have literally just had to sign a Covid declaration online with the mouse, and I just used a squiggle. Thare was no way I was going to be able to put my signature in the small area allowed.

@isaldogs has an app where you can sign with a mouse. Again not really close to a real signature using the mouse.

Using a stylus would likely give better results, as my finger does not. :)

See this example app

Hi,
thanks for the replies!
I did not get any notification!?

Cheers and get back to you!

so I could use something like that with a touchscreen Laptop and add the Control to a Access Form or Report.
And save the signed Report with that Signiture right?

Also can you clear that Control too?

Cheers.. Sorry a complete new Territory for me..

Hi,
yes just tried the one from arnelgp.
Will try the others too thanks and will get back to you guys if more help needed.

Many thanks to all of you!!

i just make changes to the form.
you can "clear" the signature if you don't like what you draw and
want to redo.

Hi isladogs,

yes thanks I did see it too!!
Great stuff )

So if I was to use it in a form or a Report I would just insert it into it and then be able to save the report with the signature is that right?
Not working right now at it .. just needet to know if that is possible so I can then create that form or report.

Cheers

Yes. Add the reference as specified.
Import/modify the table and form or create your own. If you need a report you'll need to add that yourself

Thanks Isladogs )

I will try that and many thanks for your support and supply of that Code and Form!

Cheers..
