Hey all,

I have had yet another feature request for one of my databases. It seems as though the built in search box at the bottom of the Access window is much too small for some people to see/use efficiently. They would like a nice little pop-up form or search field embedded in the form footer/header.

In Filemaker Pro, creating a search form is a very simple process, but I can't seem to find such a simple, analogous wizard in Access.

Does the facilitation of the creation of a search box/form exist in Access (2003), or is it something that requires coding?

Try next:
1) Open form in design view.
2) Open toolbox, select CONTROL WIZARDS icon.
3) Select combo box (on toolbox) and put the combo box on your
form (header).
4) The "Combo Box Wizard" form is going to open.
5) Select "FIND A RECORD ON MY FORM BASED ON THE VALUE I SELECTED
IN MY COMBO BOX".
6) Follow wizard.
