Simple way to update look up list?

Hello, Is there a simple way to update a lookup list. I want to be able to generally select towns from a list, but should I need to add a new town, I can do it directly into the form and the lookup list will be updated aswell. I am struggling with Not In List function. Is tehre some secret that someone can let me into please, is there a command called Add Record that sort of adds a record to a lookup?
