I have been working on a database which started out to be 7MB. I added some reports and some more queries to it and eventually it got to 8.5MB which was reasonable.
The problem started arising when in one of the queries I omitted a column, the database size just shot up to 13MB and then 23MB after omiting another column. I have not touched that query since and have been adding new reports, queries etc. To my knowledge the size of the DB should not increase by that much.
What could be wrong? Can it be that the database is corrupt,and if so how can I fix it?
I definately need to bring the size down.
