Hi there..

we have one access database with size about 600mb and 1 million rows in one table. My concern is is it bad to have so much data in access database. If so what is the possible solution for that.

Thanks
Danny

Just keep it backed up. "Specifications" in Access help will give you the limits. You are not even close. Do you Compact and Repair regularly?

Not so. They can reach 2Gb. But if the database is made up exclusively of that one table then it may be time to look into database normalisation in order to properly organise your data.

Max Of 1Gb Per Table I run A DB With 7 Backends one table has 1,747,564 Entrys but the size of that Db Is only 196Mb The other tables only account for about 1% of the total size.

The reason it is small is it has been Normalised The DB's total 478Mb with Between 25,000 And 150,000 Entrys a week and at the moment 2.89 Million Entrys 85,000 Added today
