Solid Pie Chart! where am I going wrong

Is there a simple guide to creating a pie chart, I have followed the wizard and choosen six fields and dragged them to the data field but all I get is a solid chart for one field. It's late and I'm tired, I usually do all this in excel which is so much easier but I need this to be raised within the app.

In the design view of the chart, double click the chart area to bring up the chart toolbars.

Either from the toolbar buttons or the data menu choose Data: Series in Columns
