Sorting Non-Adjacent Cells

Hi.
I have a rather lengthy spreadsheet given to me. I need to sort it's contents by Location and Name. Using Excel 2003 SP3

However, these columns are separated by others. And, while all Location cells have data, not all Name cells do.

Ideas?

Not sure what the problem is? Can you elaborate?

If you select the whole table, go to Data|Sort, then sort first by Location then by Name, doesn't it get you what you want? If not, why not?

Duh! You're so right! I have simply used the ascending/ descending icon on the toolbar for so long, now... Sorry for probably wasting your time. Thank you, though!
