Sorting when date is formatted as weekday

Hi,
Does anyone know how to force a date field, that is formatted to a day of week number (w), to sort by number? The underlying field is still formatted as a date and therefore ignores the returned values of 1 - 7!
I am trying to display a report, by page from Monday through Friday.

Add a computed column to your query and sort on that column. Use the Sorting and Grouping property rather than rely on yu report recordsource order. The former controls.
