I have a form which has about an inch of white space at the bottom.

Not normally a problem, but as I wish to display the default record selectors it is causing a vertical scroll bar to be displayed. This means the user will have to scroll down the form, when there does acutally appear to be space for the record selectors to appear on the screen.

Can anyone offer me some advice, I've been going crazy all afternoon with this one.

Thanks.

In design view, you need to make sure that the bottom of the form is closed up to the bottom of the controls.

If you created the form using a wizard, you may have an empty section for the form footer at the bottom. If this is the case you need to close this up.

Hope this helps

All you have to do is resize the window so that the black line at the bottom (where the white space begins) is just visible. If your window is not sizeable in form view, you may have to experiment with diferent window sizes in design view.

Thanks Sue, but I've check the form footer and the bottom of the 'detail' section is right up to the last field.

Any other suggestions?

If your window is sizeable, pull the bottom edge down until the scroll bar is seen to disappear. This has to work!

Do you have a sub form in your detail section, and if so could this be made smaller, then the control closed up a bit.

Another case where I have had a similar problem, is when I have been using tab pages, a contol on one tab has been forcing the whole form to be larger, if so you need to check and close up all the tab pages as far as possible.

Hope this helps

Sue
