speed and size of databases.

Hi,

Is there anyway to decrease the size and therefore increase the speed of an access 97 database? This is my first real go at creating a database and as you can imagine I have created and deleted alot of forms & querys that I haven't needed and this (I think) has increased the size of my database (currently 21.5 mb). Is there an easy way to increase the speed as it's starting to slow a bit?

Go to Tools -> Database Utitlities -> Compact Database

That'll do it.

Why not search the forum on "compacting" to find out why the database bloats like this?
