Hello!

I've got a form which displays continuous forms, and I would like a certain set of text boxes to remain static whilst you can scroll (using the window scroll handles) the rest of the boxes. I guess it's like the freeze panes control in excel. Is this possible in access?

Ta!

If you just want to setup a header then you can just put those in the form header. But I'm not sure if you can freeze like in Excel.

Put your column names in the form header as suggested and they will remain static (or frozen) while you scroll through the form detail section.

Mad or what

I just logged on to ask the very same question - the form I have has the column headers in place.....great...but

Can the rows be frozen also - I have a PO number column and want to be able to scroll left and right and always display this column on the left - just like Excel.

Any ideas??

Thanks

Hey Autoeng! How's it going?

Is it possible to embed an excel sheet in a form that pulls data from the table. Then use this worksheet like a datasheet?

just had a look in "help" - I must revert to looking there first - apparently it can be done with forms in datasheet view only.

I must say I prefer continous forms as these can be made "to look better" - I suppose a subform in datasheet view can be put in a main form to keep it looking half OK
