Hi All,

So I have created a relational database for tracking offenders at work.

We use Office 365 and thus Sharepoint to host all our documents.

As multiple users may need to use the database at the same time I split it into back end and front end.

I have placed the back end into a folder, within this folder is a sub folder for each user. (Currently two)

In order for all users to access it I have manually directed the front end file to the back end file.

Now this seemed to solve the issue until my assistant and I started to try to update things. Now if we both use it at the same time it causes two back end files to be created.

The reason for not using a web app was that a lot of the features we want to use, can't be used on a web app.

We can't host on a local network as the other users that will also be using it eventually are based in another Office the other side of London.

So, I am asking if anyone has a solution or any help at all with this please?
