I have a secured database that I built. I've used the splitter to put the backend on the network with the front ends to go to various other persons computers. I secured the backend with the same workgroup as the front end. Now I have some forms that will not open because a group does not have permission to open at least one of the objects in the backend. Not sure which object it would be other than the tables that provide data for the form.
I've checked to make sure that the users, groups and permissions are the same on the intact and split versions.
The question is why does it work on the intact database and not the split. FYI, this occurred immediately after the split so I do not think any links are missing.
