split database

I'm still have speed issues.

Here's a split database question. (maybe Im doing this wrong)

I split the database. The front and backend reside on the server.
All I did was add a short cut to frmMainSwitchBoard on everyone connected to the server.

Is this a good way of doing things?

If not, would that affect the speed?

If everyone gets a shortcut to the front end then there's little point in splitting it.

Each person should get an actual front end each; not all have a shortcut to the same one.
