Split DB Question

Hi, I have a split DB. FE & BE. MS Access 2013

I have some code for a linked table manager that appears to be working as it should. Runs on AutoExec at start up of program.

The question I have, is when I change the name of the BE to test the code, ie cannot find BE, do you want to locate? ms access opens the generic DB window, it does not actually open my DB FE to allow my code to run.

Any ideas why it will not even open my FE to allow my spash screen to show and my "RefreshLinks" code to run?

Spent quite a bit of time trying to figure this one out.

I suspect the code in your autoexec. suggest add a msgbox to the autoexec to confirm it is running

We've used the linker at https://github.com/digitalspenz/rcmodule/blob/master/basJStreetAccessRelinker.bas and never had that sort of problem and I'd often rename the BE exactly as you are doing. If you get stuck on this you might consider this linker.
