Split Form Display size

Am I missing something here?

I have a split form wich shows individual record details in the top half and datasheet vie in the bottom half.

The form settings are as follows:-

Default View - Split Form
Allow Form View - Yes
Allow Datasheet View - No
Allow Pivot Table View - No
Allow Pivot Chart View - No
Allow Layout View - No

Width - 25cm
Auto Center - No
Auto Resize - Yes (also tried with set to No)
Fit to Screen - Yes (also tried with set to No)
Border Style - Sizable (also tried with Dialog)

Yet whenever I open the form up in view mode it opens it up too narrow (around 2 to 3 cm), it seems to ignore the width setting. I usually open forms up with Border Style set to Dialog but this doesn't allow me to resize the form manually so that I can see the whole form.

No matter what I try I can't seem to figure this one out.:banghead:

Any help from the Guru's gratefully recieved.

Hi All

Forget this post - apparently this is a well know, long standing bug with Access.

So I have switched to a single form with a listbox to select which record to display.

Have a good one!
