Chaps,

I have a bunch of forms which have a split form layout, datasheet area to the bottom of the forms. I'm wanting to group all these split forms onto a "Navigation" form but when I click the tab for each form to be displayed in the subform area the datasheet split is now missing and all I get is a "Single" form view of what is a split form. How can I get these split forms to view properly in the subform area of the navigation form, I guess there's a property setting but I can't see it?

Cheers

Denis

Subforms you stuff into naviation forms become subforms. A split form does not want to be a subform - ever. If you want navigation forms, then no split forms then.

spikepl, I've never actually tried embedding a split form in a navigation form but just tried it and I see that it won't display the datasheet part.

Navigation forms and split forms are two very limited objects.

If you want a similar kind of view then you want to create your own split form using a subform and embed this form in your navigation form.

Thank for your help chaps, it was my first use of navigation forms, I'll rejig the forms and view them another way.

No worries, once again thanks for your help.

Denis
