If an application (Access 2010), is split into be and fe files; does that mean after it is installed on a remote site that by replacing the backend with updated queries, macros, forms etc, the existing data will be integratged into the application.
In other words, if we make changes to an existing working application that is split; we can update the application by supplying an updated version of the be file. The front end and back end in this instance would reside on a stand-a-lone system.
Any comments or links to credible articles on this topic would be appreciated.
Thank you.
