Splitting a table

Hi, i have a table that has contact information in.

It has contact name, number etc and company.

Quite alot have the same company. I was hoping to split the table into two, a company and contact table which are linked. I've been thinking about this and not too sure how to go about it.

Anyone have any ideas?

use a make table query to extract distinct company information.
Declare primary key in new table (Company Name maybe)
Link from this table PK to Old table and make sure that is okay
Delete Company info from Contacts table BUT not the FK
