Splitting an Access database with ODBC connection to SQL Server

Hi,

I just split my database and now the back end is empty and the linked tables from SQL Server are in the front end.

Is there any point splitting a database with ODBC links to SQL Server?

Or should the linked tables be in the back end?

The database is split, it's just that the back end is in SQL Server. You don't need the empty Access back end.
