So that's what an .adp is.. I was think Data Access Page; just got my letters around the wrong way.

Never used SQL Server in my life - would love to though.

Your posts have just showed up now.
I used your code and it seems to work great after I made a few changes to the way I had other bits written.
Thanks a million for all of your help. Hopefully I wont be back on this topic again.
