SQL Server 2000 Upsizing Methods

currently i have an accesss 2000 (.mdb) split database with security. i'm about to use the upsizing wizard to convert it to an Access project to work with SQL Server 2000.

before i do that, i'm wondering if it would be best to recombine (unsplit) the DB first or if i should run the upsizing wizard on the BE then the FE.

also, should i join the default SYSTEM.MDW workgroup before attempting to upsize?
