sql tables in Access, allshowing #deleted (1 Viewer)

ive connected to a mysql database from access by file-get ext data-link tabls, using ODBC, and a machine datasource.

however when i look at the 3 tables i've linked, every field in every column shows "#Deleted"

why am i getting no data in access?

What version of access are you using ? I had a similar issue with AC97 and linked tables to an Oracle back-end. I didn't yet resolve the issue on AC97 but was able to obtain correct results with ACXP, so I used that instead. In my case (Oracle BE) there is a knowledgebase article on the microsoft site that describes the problem.... Don't know how useful it would be to you but here it is (essentially says it is a driver issue)

thanks for that. however i'm using Acces 2003 sp2, which according to Microsoft shouldnt be a problem
