I'm pretty new to Access but have succeeded in generating the tables and queries I need as well as some reports. However, I do need to generate some charts. I've succeeded in generating the typical bar chart but I'm getting side-by-side results when I actually want stacked results. Excel gives the option of choosing this type of table; Access does not. Is this feature available in Access?

Okay, I've figured out how to do stacked charts but now I'm having problems with the datasheet view -- it's showing North, South, etc., and not my data! How do I get it to show my data so I can actually work with it?

I as well am working on Gantt type charts for progress reporting on various orders we have. I have some ideas from others on this site. Will try to post my results when I am happy with them...

This may or may not work for you all, it's working for me :)

Create your query with the data output you need for your stacked bar chart. Create an .xls file and IMPORT that data into it, then create the chart you need based off of that data set in .xls. Then all you have to do is click 'refresh' and the graph is updated adn ready to be sent, printed or whatever. Won't work for all apps but you may be able to build on that.

Maybe you could re-import the graph and display as a report???

Dunno...
