Hi,

I have a switchboard start-up form for my database which is set to pop-up so that users cannot see the toolbars. The form also has a command button on it which opens a report. My problem is that when the button is pressed the report is hidden to the user behind the start-up form. Does anyone know how I can get both the start-up form to hide toolbars but also have the report viewable when the command button is pressed??

Many thanks

Why don't you just hide your toolbars on startup?

How do I do this??

In tools, startup. Uncheck Allow full menus, allow builtin toolbars, allow toolbar menu changes. If you uncheck allow default shortcut menus, the user won't be able to use the right click functionality of the mouse. Then change the switchboard pop-up property to no.

I agree with this....however I am having a problem with this too. If you choose "NOT' to allow full menus in the switchboard settings....How can you change it back to "Allow Full Menu"...if you choose to at a later date.

If you open the Database while holding down the [Shift] key the database startup will be overridden. You can go back into the Startup Menu from there...
