Starting Access and open report but no images display

I just got in to work, started up ACCESS 2016 and my default PROJECT form shows up

I choose a project, the form is populated with a dozen or so records, including attachments with the icons showing up. However when I choose report the images don't appear. only the file names.

I return to form, re-load a jpg in one of the records and voila, they all show again when I re-run the report.

Can someone shed some light on this? It's very perplexing :banghead:

FYI I am using an image control and the filename field, embedded with zoom

I'd make a copy for your DB with just the report and data files needed to support the report. See if that has the same issue. If yes, compact it and upload for us to look at. If no, backup your database then compact and repair it to see if its working.

Just to make sure, does this happen if the images are on your computers local drive or only if the images are on a device accessed over a network? If so, what type of local network do you use?

I'm with Mark_ on this line of questioning. Sounds like a pathing problem.
