Now I've gone and done it. (Let me preface this by saying that I'm working on a copy of my front end, not the original).
I have my db start with a particular form that most of the people will be using and it has links to the other forms they need. I went and changed the name of this form while editing yesterday. Today I opened the db and get the error: "The form name 'xxx' is misspelled or refers to a form that doesn't exist."
Okay, yes, that form name no longer exists. I need to point my startup form to the new name. The problem is that Access (2003) won't even open the database now to let me make the change.
My question: is there a way to force Access to open to the Database Window via outside command line? Or is there a way to remotely change the opening form? Or, is there a way to bypass the opening form?
I've checked the command line switches and there doesn't appear to be anything helpful there, but I'm' still pretty new to all this.
Thanks, Rob
