Statistics Chart

I have an attendence database with a years worth of data. I need to have a bar chart for this data by various date ranges. In otherwords, when I select a beginning and an ending date, the chart should update and display a vertical bar chart for the quantities related to dates within that range. I need an ongoing statistics evaluation. Does anyone have a sample database that can get me started? I've worked with date ranges for other databases; however, I've never used a chart before. I hope someone has an example database for this type of chart.

Its no sweat really, well not a lot

To create a chart I personally always use queries to select and manipulate teh data into the final form that I want to chart. I then use the chart wizard and its okay.

The only difference in your case is that you will use parameters in your query. I do this frequently. I use either text boxes or combo boxes. In one user add/selects Start Date and in the other End Date. First query simple selects data between these data ranges. Subsequent queries manipulate the data.

My preference is for Combo boxes.

The first can show all available dates from the data to be the subject of the chart
The second that was hidden is displayed via the on click event of the first and shows all available dates greater that the date selected in the first combo box. The on click event then opens the Form or Report
