I have music playing on my homepage ofmy website. I know that music can be annoying to some people,therefore I want to create a button to turn it off. Anyone know how to go about it, (I dont know anything about html, hence im using frontpage and drag and drop so to speak). Thank you!

, personally I'd advise you not to use it on a web page but if you must you will have to get a bit hands on with html but don't worry it's not to difficult.
I assume it's a wav file so why not embed it onto your page - here is a good explination of how to do it.
If you want to only have say a button that mutes the audio (rather than the full media player control bar) you'll have to delve a bit deeper and use param controls. I've got an example at home I think so if you want it post back and I'll dig it out.
