Stop 'rounding up' of numbers on form

Access is automatically 'rounding up' numbers as I enter them in my text box on my form. Eg, 11.5 becomes 12. I see that in the Properties of the text box, if I choose 'Currency' then it does not round up, but then it has a currency sign next to the number, which is not applicable in this case. Anybody help please?

Change the data type in the table. Integers store only whole numbers. If you want decimal places use currency, single, or double as the data type. My preference is currency (you don't need to format the field as currency) because it does scalar arithmetic so you don't run into floating point errors where 1+1 is not necessarily 2.
