store time date on form with out reseting?

hey i have started a database, and i have a created a table etc that has been populated with data! i want to create a report system but i want to do this using a form! on the form (report) i would like there to be a time and date that will not change that is equal to the time and date that the form(report) was populated?

Any ideas?

I'm a little confused as you are using form and report seemingly interchangeable. I read your question to meaning 2 possible things.

1. You want to record when a record was added to a form
2. You want to record when an access report is run.

Can you clarify which of these (if any!) is accurate?

i have decided to stick with a normal report!
far less complicated lol!
