I recently upgraded to SQL Server 2008 (restored a backup from an old one with 2000!).
Everything went fine and the Db is running without any problems.
I was also using Access connected to the MSSQL database, so that i can create some reports and queries.
After the update, i tried to run some of my old queries and reports through Access.
Whenever is see the login window, i enter the new name of the server and the correct username and pass.
8/10 tries, it doesn't connect and i get the following error:
sql state 0100 sql server error 53 and sql state 08001 sql server error 17.
2/10 tries it works just fine :banghead:
I've noticed that if i play around with the text fields... click on the server name for a 2nd time, maybe use tab or click inside the pass and user text... it connects more easily
Any suggestions?
