Just recently I have started to see a strange query pop up when I want to create a new query. Please see attached (.jpg) It has a number of "~" signs in it....nothing that I have created.

I went into the underlying Visual Basic Code for my program and can't find this query to see if I can delete it.....

Any suggestions? Thank you! :)

I believe that is a deleted query. It shouldnt be showing.
compact/repair and it should vanish for good.

Thanks for the suggestion but I have compacted/repaired the database many times and it still shows up. Just to make sure, I did compacted/repaired again and the "strange" query still shows up....:banghead:

Could it be Nav Pane Options? See attached.

Edit: Just to be clear, if the system and hidden objects checkboxes (my attachment) are checked I would uncheck them to see if the rouge query goes away.

Thank you for that suggestion. Unfortunately, I tried it and couldn't find the "rogue" query....

These are the queries entered as SQL text in RecordSources and RowSources.

They are not normally shown in the Table/Query list and I am not aware of any setting that would make them appear there.
