I have a string that looks like $D$42. I need to identify the data after the second $ i.e 42.

Can anyone advise..

Thanks in advance

Look up the InstrRev function as well as the Right and Mod functions in the access help.

See if you can figure it out from there, if not ask me/us here.

Good luck

How variable in length, if at all, are the bits other than the $ characters? Do you ever have strings that look like:
$DFGHTY$42
A$D$42

?
