stupid protperties question...

I click on the properties option for my form and it displays the properties as in the attachment,

it gives no option to change the property to view, and when type in name of another property it assumes that i want to change the name to the other property.

how can i get the top part to select the desired property back?

Hi, not quite sure I fully understand your question. What are you looking to change in the properties?

in the pic the properties will not allow me to select the desired object,

i have to select them individually

this poses a problem as i want to change the properties of the form and i connot select it, it goes automatically to details.

(at the top of the properties box there should be a part to select the desired object you want the properties for, how can i display it?)

If I am understanding you correctly you need to be in the form properties and not the section detail of the form?

basically

i have had the actual properties window have a combo box listing all the things on the form from labels to the form itself where you could choose an object and then play with it's properties,

if you look at the pic you'll see that this combo box above the tabs for an object are not there, and thus i can not choose the form to change it's properties. rather ONLY what ever i can click on on th screen. I am trying to do this in design view as i should but i cannot get that combo box back to select the objects.

apparently on my own computer at home i encountered a different view for the properties menu, i will try to capture a picture when i am home to show you the difference...

right, but in my case the design view AND the form view are the same and hence my complaints.

i cannot get it to look like it is supposed to in design view...
