Sub Form and One to Many

I have two mian forms. 1 for general tool info and one for detailed tool info. The detailed tool info has a subform in it which gives details of tool measurments.

The link between "General Tool Info" and "Detailed Tool Info" is the tool serial number which I have set as the primary key in both. These have to be in a one to one, one can't exist without the other.

However, the subform on "Detailed Tool Info" called "Tool Measurement" can have many tests for one tool. I have attempted to set up a one to many link by linking serial number to test number.

However, when I try and add a second test number I get an error telling me that I am trying to add a duplicate values in the index, primary key or relationship.

I can't see where this error is.

Any advice?
