Sub Form - Field Posistion & Size Problem

OK - this is driving me crazy, hope someone knows what I am talking about here and will be able to provide an answer.

I have a form with a subform, the subform is being problematic - in that: I have added a new filed to it (the subform) and I cannot get the new fiield to be at the posistion nor the size that I want. The new field is called - material - I want "materila" to be the first filed on the form, I also want it to be longer but I cannot get it to be the first field and I seem unable to resize it.

I am including two attachments
1) subform - this shows how the subform looks in design view
2) claim - this is the main form with the subform

The subform does display in datasheet view on the main form - not sure if that matters.

There must be a way to get the filed to be the first field on the form and to resize it - but it eludes me.

While you have the main form open drag the column in the subform to the position you want and size the field also. Then press Ctrl-S to save your chnges then close the main form. Re open the form to see the changes you hve made.

Here it is - it is a 2007 version - can this be that hard??

Don't know what you did, but I followed my own instructions and it worked. see revision.

Well - somehow I got it to resize and move as well - confusing, not sure exactly what I did - but it seems fixed.
