sub report problem

OK guys -

I have report that deals in multiply currencies and mulit tax rates (per currency )
my main report works and I get 1 report per currency per tax rate
example Sterling tax at 5% - 1 report
sterling tax rate of 6% - 1 report

I take the the infomation from the report(qry) and my subreports then lay the information out is a predifined format ...
(the subreport comprises of 5 subreports)
the first set of subreports i think totals all of the data -
what have I done wrong

(the second main report in my example 6% one - is totally correct - just the first set of subreports is out of sink)

scrub that - didn't put same date range in the subreport qry
