Sub Report problems

HI

I have a report that as some 20 subreports. I have developed the first report and all layout is perfect.

I now need to copy the report including all sub reports but it needs to look at different sub reports, as it is based on a table with 4 different id's which have different text fields.

The main report points at another query this works.

Other than adding in every other sub report again into the main report with the new subreports is there away I can get it to look at the sub report it should. No matter what I try it keeps the copied source and of course this corrupts the good report.

Any ideas please....

Instead of recreating the Report and all the subreports.... can you put code behind the two buttons that open the report that changes the recordsource for each sub?
If the structure of the subforms is good for both reports and the only thing that needs to change is the data, I'd explore trying that.

Hi

I dont think my coding in the first instance is good enough to replicate it hence if I change anything it keeps changing the good report in some instances. So looks like I will ahve to re-insert over and over again.
