sub report

hi every body

i have a report for my bill of materials

the main report runs on a qry --- displays "model number"

the sub report runs on a different qry --- displays parts and sub assemblies

the sub sub report (inside sub report) displays parts for the sub assemblies

all the three have been linke witj child and parent and the data shown is ok and correct

the problem...
the sub report shows both part and sub assemblies
the sub sub report shows only parts for the sub assembly

when the report is displayed, since there are parts for a sub assembly the parts record is displayed
but for a part there is no record to display..so a blank is shown
i want the blank to be removed for those records where there is no sub sub records

i have attatched a picture for more clarity
it shows the sub report and the sub sub report

GREAT ANSWER
SET THE PROPERT TO CAN SHRINK, CAN GROW to YES
also, set the height to bare minimum ...may be 0.1 or so
it works like charm
