Hey
I have a form that has a box for you to enter in a parameter, and then a search button.
Currently, clicking the search button will open a form that finds what the user has asked for, and can view each selection with the record navigation buttons at the bottom.
However, I added this form as a subform into the main form. When I click search, however, it opens up a new form and the subform remains blank. If I go to design view and back to form view, then the subform has updated.
How can I
A) Get the subform to automatically update
B) Stop the subform opening as a form on its own when you click search
I've looked on the internet and I see something about the text is just text and Access hasn't recognised it as anything yet until you save it (going to Design View and back to Form View) but I don't know how to overcome this.
