Subform Calender

ok,
I have a calender subform - need to click on a date and the value will be dumped into a date box on my main form. How do i do this??
tearing my hair out here would be greatful for any help.....

use the on click event for your calender

forms![mainformname]![controlname]=me![yourcalendername].value

the on click event may not be a available in the propertys list

use have to select it in your forms code module

I realize you may not know much about VB and here's something a little simpler.

To get to the On_Click event of your calendar control: Right-hand click on your calendar control and go to Build Event.

Type:
Me.NameOfYourDateField.Value = Me.NameOfYourCalendarField.Value

You can only use Me. to reference a control on the form Me. relates to Ally, so
Me.NameOfYourDateField.Value = Me.NameOfYourCalendarField.Value will not work, it has to be
more or less the way bjackson posted
