Subform count problem

I have subforms on a tabbed form (one per tab). I have placed a text box on the subforms to count the number of records, which I then display on the main form so user knows how many records there are without having to scroll down the subform. This all works fine but when there are no records #Error is displayed.

I would idealy like to display nothing, 0 or make the text box invisible. So far i've had no success. I was wondering if anyone has come across this problem in the past or could suggest a way to get round this.
