Hi, !never mind I figured out that I needed to do a Requery on the subform) Thanks anyway!
Needing a little more help. The database I am working on consists of four tabs with data from two tables. The form in question has a subform that pulls in a 'Description' field. The problem is that it is not getting triggered when I would expect it to. The requirements for the query that populates the Description data are entered first, then the subform is displayed and below that are 10 text boxes with 'Findings' the user is to enter. The user needs the subform 'Description' data to determine how to word the findings. The Description data is not populating until after the first Finding text box data is entered and the cursor is tabbed to the next field for entry. It is almost as if there is an 'on lost focus' or 'on dirty' property that the subform is dependent upon but I can't find one. Can someone help me with ideas of where to look in the database for what could be preventing the 'Description' data from populating until the next two fields are entered? Thank you!
