Hi there folks, inexperienced and in need of help here...
This kind of relates to an earlier thread I had on here, trying to produce a form possibly containing a subform that will allow me to filter relevant records required...
Had originally wanted to produce a multi-purpose search form that would be capable of searching 2 tables for the selections made in 2/3 combo boxes and show them within a subform...but kinda let this slip as had no luck with this
So now in mind of producing 2 seperate forms for the searching of 2 seperate tables (if this makes sense?)
Having trouble though populating combos...
1st table is tblWorkRequests
PK is autonumber field but want to search by ReqName (requesters name) in the 1st combo
once have selected a name I wish to then select by type such as install, network, etc...
and maybe try and include a 3rd combo to select by date...
Found one or 2 examples within the forums but having trouble trying to work them out as my programming skills are sadly lacking at the moment!!
Anyone who could help out would really be doing me a favour as I desperately need to get my head round this...
