Subform moving based on mainform

I have a mainform which shows a single record, I would like to have it also show the previous record.

The user is picking parts, the main area is to show them what to pick next and I want it to show what they just have picked.

I thought about having a subform which would contain the identical information from the main form but to always be a record behind? Perhaps this is the wrong way about going about it?? I thought about when the user hits the "next part to pick" button it moves the main form on a record and then the subform shows MainFormRecord-1

as it were.

Any thoughts would be most appreciated.

Thank you for that, What I am really trying to do is to have the main form only show one record. On the same screen it would show the record before it as well. A bit like in datasheet mode but rather than a complete list of all records it will only show two records.

Use a Datasheet if that is what you want.

Just adjust the height to show two records, not all of them.

So in the main record it would show,
Your current item to pick is SSD x 1 128GB @ £100.
The last item you picked was 21" TFT Screen (just so the user can see what they just picked)

The main problem with the datasheet is that you loose a great deal of the styling when it comes to field positioning and buttons.
