Hi All. Been a while since I’ve been developing a database and I’m having an issue where the I’m having an issue where I select from the combo box and the subform isn’t showing the related data. However, when I run the query, it shows the data. Attached is the screenshot.

I did search for this and wasn’t able to find the resolution. I ran into this a while back, but forgot what I did to resolve this issue.
Query
Qry_ToolType (criteria)
[forms]![frmCal]![cmbType]

MainForm:
Dropbox (OnChange)
Me!sfrmCal.Requery

Thanks

Yes, I have tried that. Here is the code I've used in the OnChange for the Combo Box:
*************************
MainForm:
Dropbox (OnChange)
Me!sfrmCal.Requery
*************************
Funny thing, I started this at home last night and was working great with Access 2010. I'm at work now and it's noth working with Access 2007. I hear there are bugs associated with this version (2007). Did I hear right???
Thanks

Not sure if the way you try to requery is right.. try this..
Code:
Me![I][B]SubForm_Name[/B][/I].Form.Requery
And also the best method to use will be AfterUpdate of ComboBox. Than OnChange.

Tried that too with the same results... I've attached the db for your view if you wish to take a peek at it.

Hey there. Just checked the file you sent through.. It did not seem like it was working as a sub form and parent form should actually work, probably because it is an unbound form for an unbound combobox.. so I deleted the sfrmCal and replaced it with sfrmCal_Test now it works fine.. Just check out..

Cool man, thanks. I'll go through this and learn from your correction.

Thanks a whole lot man. I really appreciate your help...

:)

I'm running into the exact same problem with my subform not displaying/refreshing correctly, although the underlying query is updating and the subform has the me.requery command.

pr2-eugin, are you able to summarize what you did to fix this? It would be greatly appreciated!

Hello khoward4795, Welcome to AWF.. :)

I honestly have no idea what changes I made to the earlier one.. But if you could create a New Thread and ask your question by giving as much details as you could (and) attach a copy of your stripped down database.. I or other members might be able to help you..
