Subform Query

I have a form with a subform. The two are linked by a Case Number. I am pulling information from the Primary form for a letter via a query. However, the query is creating a separate record for every instance of a Case in the subform. I need it to combine those records so I have one record per Case Number.

For example, Case # 3436 had 5 issues (A, B, C, D, E ) listed in the subform. When I made the query to pull the primary information (Name, Address) from the Primary form, plus the issues in the subform, it returned 5 separate records - one for each issue - duplicating the other data. Get what I am saying?

1) Name Address A
2) Name Address B
3) Name Address C
4) Name Address D
5) Name Address E

I need:
1) Name Address A B C D E

Sounds to me like you might want to look into cross tab queries. Not too sure exactly what everything is for but try reading up on this type of query.

It could allow you to create a new field for every entry so in effect might achieve what you want.

Address | A | B | C | D | E
112 abc 1 1 1 1 1

Look into it, as I said, not too sure what you want but let me know.

Will.
